Best about it: Visuality, color themes, sounds. Very beautiful and nicely done. I also liked political themes
How did I felt: I have to admit that i felt occasionally I bit bored, because of the adventurous nature of the movie and many action scenes. If you happen to like adventure movies, this propably wont bother you. There was also some fantasy elements that didn't impress me. I'm a big fan of dystopias, but I like them to feel more real. Overall very much worth watching even tho it wasn't as mindblowing.

What is this about: Ephraim Winslow is sent to the lighthouse to work as Thomas Wakes helper for a month. Island's longtime keeper proves to be very demanding and even intimidating and seems to want to keep his secrets. Working in isolated island doing burdensome chores causes harm for both of them. Athmosphere is dark from the beginning 'till the end.

Content warnings: Violence.
Best about it: In the beginning I had a feeling that I know where this is going and it bothered me, but luckyly I realised very soon, that I was wrong and I was able to watch forward open-minded. Characters were well created and film was visually pleasant.
How did I felt: A bit anxious, partly heartbreaking. I did not like this movie at all, but I still think it's a good one. Not a good-mood movie.
